Meet the Trainer: Cara Crossan

We're very excited about the current training calendar that we will be delivering over the next six months. We are proud to be able to utilise the strong knowledge-base that exists within the sector, drawing from our many skilled financial counsellors. We have also engaged a number of excellent facilitators, who are experts in their own fields, to present a number of new sessions. We plan to introduce them to you over the next few months, so that you can get a good idea of what's on offer.

This month, Cara Crossan will facilitate our session on Therapeutic Counsellor and Financial Counsellor collaboration (TC and FC Teamwork - 30 January). Cara is a qualified and accredited trauma and addiction therapist, consultant and clinical supervisor. She holds a masters degree in addiction psychology and counselling and is a qualified Hazelden addiction specialist. Cara is a certified sex addiction and trauma therapist, specializing in the treatment of trauma and its manifestations in sex addiction.

Cara has extensive experience providing training in all areas of trauma and addiction and has worked in the private and charity sectors as well as the criminal justice system in Ireland, United Kingdom, Holland and Australia.
